Immature Stages of Nepidae

Detailed information on immature stages of Nepidae is being acquired. However, Clausen (1940) noted that they are mostly aquatic, feeding mainly on insects and a variety of the smaller animal life in ponds and streams. Some larger ones even prey on tadpoles and small fish.
